No matter how much we’re trying to quantify success, it still remains highly subjective and personal. Some people think that being successful is nothing more than having fulfilling and balanced relationships. Others can’t imagine it without career milestones and financial achievements. And, surprisingly, there are also people who courageously admit that being successful does not depend on external factors. 

Although the definition of success remains elusive, this doesn’t mean that we have to abandon our search for what makes us humans thrive and flourish. Luckily, psychology and neuroscience are getting better and better at pointing out what we need to develop and achieve flourishing lives
